I have been contacted by the original owner of a 1970 Competition Green, 351-4V, 4 speed Eliminator. He does not have the vin but it was special ordered from Wendt-Peterson Ford Mercury in Waupaca, Wi in Aug, 1969 and delivered in September of 1969. He traded it in at a Volvo dealership in St Paul, MN in 1972.

Having Grown up in Mn and finding my old GTE is now a pile of rust sitting in a field. I hope his luck in finding his long lost cat turns out better than mine. Mn. used alot of road salt back then so chances are not good it survived in any kind of restorable condition. I wish him the best of luck in his search !
