Seat Covers Wanted

Where is the best place to get proper seat covers with close colouring for my 67 Cougar

Standard or XR-7 interior?

West Coast Classic Cougar
National Parts Depot
John’s Classic Cougar
Kens Classic Cougar
It would appear, that lead times could be as long as 9 months.
Probably a good idea to contact each place, see what they have to say, regarding availability.

All of these use the one place making seat covers.

Distinctive Industries. Anytime you order from the list, DI is called, order placed, and they make hundreds of $$ off you. I have (and will continue to use Summit racing). Just had 2 orders made up, took about 3-4 months, and shipping was FREE! Also note they carry “Scott Drake” items at less than most other places. Try Kentucky Mustang & EClassics too.

Don’t forget about Rock auto for carpet kits from the same supplier everyone listed uses.

Save some money and donate a few saved $$ to this site

and most forums that i am member of have rockauto 5% discount codes most of the time also. I use my longroof forum code all the time for cougar parts LOL

Standard . Light blue or greenish blue

If I’m understanding correctly, Summit doesn’t use Distinctive Industries? Or do they have a better deal with and get a better response from DI?

Summit definitely uses DI. I’m sure they get better response due to volume.

I ordered front and rear covers for my ‘68XR7 in January 2021 and it took 11months to get them. Think you’ll see a pretty long lead time from any vendor using Distinctive. You might check with John’s Classic Cougars in Michigan as he was getting some work done locally. Material availability was an issue as well labor shortage with my order. Things might be better now?

Johns people have retired. Dist Industries shipping in 3-4 month.

John’s has this set in light ivy gold for sale.
