My 70 cougar taillights stopped working along with the radio. Are the two connected to the same fuse? I replaced the blown radio fuse(14amp) but now neither the radio or taillights work. Any info will be much appreciated

The tail light sequential (turn signals) are on a different fuse so totally unrelated. The fuse panel mounts to the firewall and has rust issues so often you can replace a fuse and still nothing works. You have to physically remove the wiring harness that contains the fuse panel and then you have the choice of either removing the rust physically with a wire wheel in a small hand tool for example or you can use a solution that can be purchased at Harbor Freight for example.
