Where in North Florida? I’m in Citrus County. Maybe I can plan a road trip. Jon
So I thought you could just buy the 1157 bulbs in LED and just replace my old bulbs.
Atlantic Beach near Jacksonville
Some will, some won’t - i bought a whole kit that had all the lights, flashers and digital sequencer.
would be a whole lot cheaper to ship UPS
FWIW I tried several different LED bulbs off amazon prior and all ended up just not being what you should have on the car. Biggest issue was the lack of clear contrasted difference between running light mode and brake light, nearly indistinguishable.
By far the best LED bulb for the digital electronic sequencer setup, 100% on all thrusters… safety, looks, clarity, reliability, and worth every cent is this set right here:
If running the CU solid state sequencer unit and these bulbs, if you want your dash turn indicators to function & light up properly, then will need this CU upgraded under dash flasher (which also has the old-school ‘click clack’ sound inside the car for the turn signals.
When I bought this car, I couldn’t even see the lights on in daylight and so dim even after dark, the brake-light level was dangerous. This photo is after dinner hour but still light out and with the plasma running lights on, crisp and bright. when applied, the brake light is very much brighter still (unlike majority off amazon or ebay as tested) and attention grabbing to drivers behind you, as a brake light should be. light years ahead of anything these cars have ever ran over 55+ years.
Got that. But, wifey loves road trips - and I do have a nephew in Middleburg…..
ok, let me know what you want to do
