Has anyone shipped a car from Canada to the USA “door-to-door”? If so, could you recommend a shipping company? Since I’m unfamiliar with the process, I want a company that handles everything including customs. My understanding is that a classic Cougar doesn’t require DOT since they were manufactured in the US and bc of their age.
Getting a company that handles the entire customs side might be tough, but you might try A-1 Auto Transport Canada - they do a lot of shipping between the U.S. & Canada as far as I know and might be able to handle that. You’ll definitely need a shipper that’s familiar with the whole process if you’re looking for that type of service.
