What did you have to do to get the Stripper mags to fit? I was under the understanding they wouldn’t work due to backspacing. Are you disc brakes up front? I absolutely love those things. They remind me of the spoked factory mags on a 65 grand prix my dad had (think KH made those also in the day)
Too bad you sold them already. I was looking for a set until I was told they wouldn’t fit my 67
The car is lowered about 1-1/2" in front and original height in the rear. 1/2 coil was cut from the original front springs, Shelby drop (relocated a-arms), roller spring perches, KYB shocks all and larger sway bars all around. 4.5" backspacing on the rear wheels (4" front). The 255/45/17 rear tires rubbed slightly so the fender lips were rolled a little. 5" rear wheel backspacing or a smaller rear tires would be perfect.
The Kelsey Hays Stripper wheels fit fine, no problems at all. The KH rims are 15x6 with 3" backspace. The car has Kelsey Hayes disc brakes in the front.
