I’ve just noticed my drivers side window is just catching my rear quarter window at the bottom. I think if the drivers window moved “forward” a fraction towards the front of the car everything would be fine.
Is this adjustment possible on a 69 where the windows are glued in?
Totally, The regulator Assy (Window Crank) is what does it.

Test the movement of the glass 1st, by bumping it by hand forward. If the glass moves the spring steel adjustment washer is most likely broken or gone.
To fix: Remove door panel(s). Locate & remove front 1/2 nut at top/front of regulator arm. Pull arm off bolt you just took the nut off.
Remove bolt. Install a washer that fits the base of the bolt. Reinstall bolt with washer, then the arm & nut.
This will now allow the bolt to lock the arm in place after you do final adjustment.
If the rear window is not tight against the rear w/x the quarter window will need adjustment also. You can cheat by bumping into the w/x. The door glass should then fit fine.
Thanks Bill and Mike.
I’ve just spent some time in the garage today with no luck…
I tested the window first and that was ok so I loosened the 4 bolts right off and I’m pretty sure it was as far forward as possible. It was right up to the bump stop which only adjusts up and down any way.
This leads to a possible adjustment of the rear window but I don’t know what you mean by w/x and bumping into it?
It does occur to me though that perhaps theres a slight twist in my chassis and I can never get it right .
