The plan is to do some suspension work on it, and a few other mechanical details…
… and then give it back to the owner.
Oh it’s not mine. 
It belongs to an old friend of mine. He had another 30+ years ago when I first did mine. He had to let it go for various reasons and just recently picked this one up.
He likes the old school look and the majority will stay the way it is.
That was exactly how the perfect Cougar looked to me when I was a high school student. Go back to when I was a grade schooler, the only thing different would have been the addition of flames on the front.
