I was watching a YouTube video a week or so ago, and a young man ,much younger than me , referred to a cougar as a SS. Chevy has had many cars that have the SS badge or package, known as Super Sport. I have not heard of a Ford,Mercury product referred to as a SS. Has anyone heard of the sport special referred to as a SS ?

There was never any “SS” or other type of badge associated with this option that I know of.

there was a 68 ford mustang sold overseas with the letters A and SS however I dont think the Mustang SS ever got back to the U.S.A . it was like Falcon GT in the Australia wasnt ment to be sold in the U.S.A.
