Squealing sound coming from pullys

I just changed the lower fuel pump or sending unit on my 1972 cougar. I had to completely loosen the power steering pump to install the new fuel sending unit. When I put it back together and started the car I’m getting a loud squealing sound now when I rev the engine I think I put belt on correctly, put the fan does not spin now. It feels very tight when I move it with my hand and I get a loud sound also I tried tightening it and loosening to see if that would help, but nothing is changing, it still squeals. Do I have the belt on wrong? Does anyone have a belt diagram or any advice on why it is doing this??

Usually squealing sound means the belt is not tight enough.

With belt off, the fan pulley should spin freely and without noise. If it doesn’t, your water pump bearing is bad.
