Hello all…
I personally celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Mercury Cougar by going out and buying an original '67 390 GT. It is in beautiful shape, but I do have a steering issue. The car turns to the right smooth and easy, but turning left is much stiffer. Still smooth, but requires significantly more effort.
Love to hear everyone’s thoughts…
Should have clarified that it is power steering…
Just found another post with a similar issue…sorry everybody. I should have looked more carefully before posting my own thread (damn).
We could start a “right turn only” club… 
Seems like a new PS control valve might be in order.
Well congrats on the purchase.
