I put the car on stands getting it ready for the exhaust install when I found the source of my leak. At first I thought it was a bad seal on the oil drain, but then realized it was coming from my power steering pump.
Once I looked at her from underneath I found the ram was what was really dripping.
Is the rebuild kit on WCCC (ITEM #: 32324) a viable option? How hard is it to rebuild?
I take it that it is leaking from the shaft rather than the hose inlet? That looks like a complete kit, also can be had at NPD for $19 for just a shaft rebuild kit. I didn’t do a rebuild on mine but looked into it just incase, and it seemed doable with simple tools, plenty of videos on youtube
Thanks, I think I’ll get the WCCC kit for the boot too. I’ll check again to be sure but I thought it was leaking out of the shaft. I should clean it up and make sure. Lots of buildup around the ram.
