I have a 69 XR-7 with white and dark aqua interior. The rim blow wheel has a dark aqua pad, but the wheel itself is black. It’s not a repro but might have been replaced at one time. The column is aqua like the pad. Should the wheel be dark aqua also?
My aqua interior 69 standard had an aqua 3 spoke rimblow wheel and the aqua pad, so I suspect at some point your original cracked and was replaced.
My 69 which has a dark aqua exterior and a parchment interior with aqua dash pad and console has an aqua steering wheel.

Yep you need to find an aqua steering wheel because the black one is obviously not right.

Heres a few pics of my 70 I had done for a Blue interior. Work done by Best in Show. I sent custom color spray. They did wheel & rim blow switch
All should be wood grain & lower matching color. 69 & 70, not sure on 67/8s
Nice! I’ve been considering having them refinish my steering wheel, and it helps to see finished product! I also have wondered how it will hold up in the sun.
