There are several posts about this on the forums…
Search rim blow or steering wheel; here is one:

Some things I found helpful:
I used sterling silver jewelry repair strips, IIRC Royce recommended them. Can be found on Etsy.
Buy the WCCC rim blow horn, they are slightly longer than those on Ebay and you need the length.
Its a good weekend project
I send mine here.
Same … also used Best In Show, they did a great job.
I have tried most of the U.S.-based restoration places and have never been completely satisfied. They will typically work just fine for a seldom driven car but if you drive it often, I’ve not found that the finish holds up. I took a chance and sent a wheel to New Zealand and am 100% satisfied. The price was cheaper than the local places even factoring the cost of shipping to and from New Zealand. The turnaround time was also fantastic. My recollection is that it was less than 5 weeks total from the time I shipped it to the time I received it back. Here’s who I use: https://www.facebook.com/rimblowrestorations/
What kind if final “coating” are some of these restoration shops applying for protection? I have a few 67 wheels I want to restore and have been tempted to apply a final epoxy coating similar to how people are coating tumblers. Seems like those coatings hold up well to constant handling.
I found the thread I was looking for!
It has final coating recommendations.
