What is the best size for the front sway bar on a 69 XR7? I put a 1" in and now I cannot get my oil filter on. Any thoughts?
I had the same problem on my 68. I ended up using a stock 7/8” GT sway bar.
Many of the sway bars you buy from the aftermarket are made to fit Windsor or Cleveland small blocks. Like the one you bought.
There are spacers that move the bar down, possibly resolving this issue?
