Sweet Rides... Hot Wheels

Mrs Cougar was at the grocery store and spotted 3 Hot Wheels “Sweet Rides” Cougars. These are for Valentines day. Graphic on side reads “Cinnamon Fire” Silver body and red flames.

Go get em!

I see they are on feebay but I cannot look from work. Here’s one I found on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Hot-Wheels-Sweet-Mercury-Cougar/dp/B00HESYHPK

They are only available at Kroger stores. If anyone here has access to them please let me know as I would like to have some and Kroger does not have stores in my area. Thanks.

I think as I found, you can find them on ebay and Amazon too Randy!

My wife got them at King Soopers here in Colorado. AKA City market in smaller towns around here…

I have 3, so guess what Randy! Since you asked I’ll be glad to sell you one. Contact me…

I’ll go looking myself and see what else I can find…

Thanks Bob. I do not bother with Amazon, never been on their site. I am on ebay though just about every day so I have seen quite a few on there. The problem though is that most sellers want to sell the complete 6 car set and I have little interest in the other 5 cars. Plus the price they want for the 6 cars and shipping is more than I am willing to pay. When you do find someone selling just the Cougar again the price with shipping is more than I want to pay. What I would really like to find is someone selling several of them and offering a shipping discount on a multiple purchase. Or even better a forum member who has access to Krogers and is willing to pick up several for another collector.

I’ll look at my local Fred Meyer for them… They are Kroger so they might have them…

Thanks Bill. I appreciate the offer and will be in touch. Let me know if you can find any more of them. I bet if you did a little background searching you will find that the stores in your area are connected to Krogers somehow.

Randy,

Just a thought. You really ought to consider taking the plunge with Amazon. Used to be ebay was the best place to get a good deal, almost without fail. Nowadays, many, many times the best place to find what you want at the best price shipped ends up being Amazon. Take it from a shopper…

Thanks Bob, but I am not really a shopper. I’m on ebay more as a seller and a seeker of information. Like earlier this week I came across a Cougar toy that I had not known of before, a Taiyo 67-8 battery operated car in a light apple green. There are plenty of red ones and fire chief ones but I did not know about a light green one before. Sometimes I even get lucky and will be able to add something new to my collection.
