On a 69 can anyone tell me what size the vacuum line is that goes from the canister under the battery to the column?
How is it routed from the battery and where does it go through the firewall?
Any help would be appreciated. When I got the car the canister was missing and the column was tapped into the headlights so I don’t have anything original to work from.

Hi,
The hose size is 1/4, green & white stripe. The hose from the tilt pop reservoir is routed thru the existing electrical wiring clips mounted on the passenger side inner fender and up the side of the shock tower and around the front of the shock tower and under the shock tower to firewall reinforcement bracket being fastened by 2 rubber straps. It should attach to the check valve located near the manifold fitting at the rear of the intake manifold. The other hose coming off the check valve is the hose that goes thru the firewall. See diagram for the manifold/check valve installation.
It should be routed thru the firewall just to the right (as viewed facing the car) of the 2 1/8" hoses for the water valve motor & the AC reservoir tank Location number 1 on the picture.
