Transmission Oil Cooler Fittings

I had a leaky transmission cooler line at the radiator fitting. The fitting is stripped and I am having a devil of a time finding a replacement. Any suggestions? It appears to be male threads on both sides. The part that threads into the radiator looks to be 1/8" NPT 27 and the part that threads into the line looks to be 1/2-20 inch. When I go to look for a replacement it’s hard to find anything like this and a lot of adapters are listed as AN. Not sure if there is some other equivalent be it metric, UNC, UNF, NPT etc. What do I need to fix and where can I find it? I’ve been to all local autoparts stores and hardware stores trying to find something that will work but came up empty handed.

Try getting a good used part from WCCC.

They don’t have any. I ordered some brass reproductions as that seems the only option, but it will be a while before they show up.

Eaton Weatherhead makes them. You just have to put in the time to find what you need or have a good parts counter person look it up. Usually NAPA can order it. Here is the master catalog you can try and look it up.
