Would anyone who owns a 1968 XR7 be willing to post a close-up photo of their trip odometer reset knob so that I could compare it to mine? Thanks

67 is the long one. Also, the lens is different 67 vs 68 as the hole size differs.

Thanks Don, Here is a photo of mine. I was just wondering what the round indentation was on the face of the knob I thought that maybe something was missing but I can see no extra piece from the side view of your picture.
