Look up “lock bumping”.

After my father-in-law died, we weren’t able to find the keys for the 68 Falcon. I was able to use the ignition key from the 67 Mustang to “bump” the ignition cylinder. I then took the cylinder to a locksmith to get a key made.

Well I received my key that WCCC made for me using my glove box lock code. Inserted it into the trunk lock ,turned and son of a Cougar if the trunk didn’t pop right open😁 and yes another hoard of parts was there!
