i am just finishing restoring a 67 cougar and i have the mercury light switch but for the life of me cant find where it mounts so that it works where i thought it mounted it works backwards and is off when it open and turns on when I close the trunk so I’m wondering if anyone can tell me and send a picture of how its mounted I’m about ready to start bending bracket but all pictures i see online and the two i have are the same so I know they are supposed to be the shape they are and all pictures online nothing shows the mounting
It mounts to the rectangular hole at the left rear of the deck lid.
that’s where I put it cause that’s where its deep enough and the holes lined up but it works backwards that’s why I was wondering about a picture how its positioned it just don’t seem to fit properly
