Hello all…I am replacing the ignition switch in my '67 GT and all seems fairly straightforward except for this lug breaker i found attached to the power lug on the back of the switch. Nothing was attached to the breaker and I cannot find a loose wire anywhere. Can anyone identify the purpose of this breaker?
if attached to the center accessory post, it’s bound to be a connection / circuit breaker for some aftermarket add-on. Sometimes a/c power ends up there

PS time to ditch Photobucket, as many of us vintage car forum members have had to do. So far https://imgur.com works for free. But uploading photos directly to the topic works best, except for sig. etc.
It was indeed attached to the accessory post. Just found that WCCC has the exact same breaker listed as an A/C breaker which is normally attached to the rear of the ignition switch. Since my GT has no A/C, I can only assume that your assessment is correct and that the breaker was being used for something else. I’m going to leave it on the shelf.
Thanks for the tip on Photobucket. I don’t post many pics here. I will follow up on your advice. Thank you very much for your help.
