Upholstery review with Carid.com

 My review for the upholstery I ordered from carid. I loved it!! 10++ paid 620 in total with shipping. I installed it myself I got tired of shops changing the prices. Others Gave me estimates and never started it. One guy took 400$ and gave me some half ass quarter panels. So I have given up on them! It took me really about a month to read and learn and do it myself. And working around my full time job and my little toddlers. Anyways I hope it helps anyone else who wants to do it yourself. They included everything. Even the back panels to the front seats the vinyl to the headrest. I decided not to put it on yet. I forgot to take rear seat pictures but I’ll post them later. But the front and back seats are all the same material it’s very durable very thick and padded I loved it.

This is the set I ordered it’s a do it yourself. I bought the tools and other stuff from other online places.

Foam I ordered from Mustang market. I do not Recommend them there product was horrible and their customer service was even worse. It was a horrible response “if you don’t like it then make your own foam”.

I’ll show you their dimpled hole foam.- mustang market. I should have gone with west coast foam their usually on the money. A++

Wow that’s some epic customer service !! lol … passive aggressive is always the way to go to speak to customers

Congrats on the job … will be looking to do the same at some point in the future so that’s definitely helpful
Did you also change the burlap ?

What did you get for the padding of the rear seat ?

Yes I bought a roll of burlap on Amazon for $20 I used wire hangers from the .99 cents store. I had to place one down into the channels and hold it down with more wire into the foam to the metal and then add another to the upholstery because it has slots for the wire and then attach both together with the rings it was the easiest way for me to get everything together. For the rear bench I also used foam from Amazon a 30x72 cost 25-30$ I. Used both top and bottom seat a 2 inch foam if I would do it again I would use a 1 1/2 inch foam because it is thick. And I had to use a warming gun to stretch the material. And my weight to press down on the springs and frame.
