Anyone have some local vanity plates, my Grandfather made these in the mid 70s , the one I had hanging under my rear plate on my 68 in high school , still married to her.
Here’s what’s on the front of my Cougar. It was custom made at a truck stop off I-90 and Burr St. in Indiana. 1985 about. As a child I thought these were so cool. Have had it as a momento this whole time. Cougar being my first classic is the only car I’ve mounted it on. Truckers back then had multiple plates for different states. Being truckers they would decorate their Big Rigs with custom ones like this. It was a plastic plate that was heat formed. Then they’d roll on some color etc…
