Vinyl for back interior panels?

I ordered the reproduction plastic panels from WCCC as mine were completely cracked and falling apart. My current vinyl is in descent shape but I’m wondering if I can find vinyl with the same texture? Has anyone found it at a fabric store or online?

interested in how this turns out. I have had my eye on these panels as well but cant find much about how they fit. I think I can save my original vinyl as well but my plastic backing is absolute toast.

If your wanting as close as possible to original replacement vinyl your probably going have to check out https://smsautofabrics.com/

If your just after a basic vinyl you could get it at your local fabric place but it wont match your original texture at all.

What year & interior level do you have? For 67-8 Standard & Decor, the grain pattern is called Sierra. So if you get some black sierra grain vinyl that should do the trick. If you have the “basket weave” strips, those are removable, and you can replace them over the new vinyl.

However, if you have an XR-7, you’re kinda screwed. The only options for that are to find better used ones or get SMS to make new from scratch, which is costly and takes months.

Thanks all for the amazing help. It’s a 1967 and it’s just the standard decor. I’ll look into finding the Sierra textured vinyl.

I should have responded long ago. I got sierra vinyl in a long time ago but the pattern is smaller and much more faint then what’s on the car. Do they make different size patterns?
