The independent movie is titled “Color Red Only” it supposed to be released at the Sundance Film Festival. The auto star is a 65 Red Cutlass, hopefully the nicer car doesn’t end up on the cutting room floor. 
“Proud Mary” was ordered 7/29/68 and built 10/10/68. She spent her first 49 years on Long Island until I bought her this spring and trailered her home. 87,100 miles when she came home, I’m the third owner, I’ve put about 500 miles on her- too gorgeous to let her sit around.
Although there is nothing “special” about her (351W 2v) the numbers all match and I plan to keep/restore her to how she was delivered; except for the white sidewalls. 
The scary thing is I haven’t played inside a car since I graduated from high school…35 years ago, so sometimes I feel I’m drowning in the deep end, but then I fire her up and get on the road and it’s all worth it.
It is always exciting to see the nominees and read their stories.
