WANTED Holley 4088 (GT-E)

Hello,
WANTED Holley 4088 (GT-E) Carburator.
Dead or alive
Thank you

bump

I think you’d want to be posting the Ford PN and a date code for what you are seeking. The 4088 is Holley’s list number and will not ensure you getting a correct Ford PN or date code carb.

WCCC Search words…

This Holley 4150 carburetor is for the1968 427-4V engine equipped with the C6 automatic transmission. This carburetor was used on cars for all 50 states with Holley list #4088. This is a 600 cfm core carburetor with proper numbers. We don’t always have the factory Ford Autolite tag that was affixed to the top, transfer tube, or good choke assembly on our cores. GT-E C6 automatic only.

Part # C8AF-9510-AD stamped on the carburetor air horn.

Here is a picture of the air horn.

I have three extra ones with the 962 date code and correct metering blocks, bowls etc. Send me a PM if interested.

Sorry, i was long time searching for a C8AF-9510-AD, thats why i asking for “dead or alive”
I know the 962 is a replacement carb, but i think (here from germany) it is nearly impossible
to find a correct date coded carb for my GT-E.
In my opinion a “correct” replacement is much more better than a out of the box 650cfm Holley.
But since you are asking: car build Date is January (i think 30?) of 68.

Thank you in advance
Joe

Joe, I think having the correct carb is a great idea, but my GT-E runs a lot better with the later 735 CFM Cobra Jet carb. You can find service replacements fairly easily

I run a 735cfm from 68 too, but like to go back stock
