We are looking at purchasing a web based phone system that would allow people to work from home. Being on the West Coast, we do not start answering the phone until 7:30 am PST and we would like that to change. It would be great to hire someone to answer basic questions and route calls and direct emails to our sales people in house. It would be ideal if in time, we had 3-4 people as far a way as Europe answering our phones 24 hrs per day. I am envisioning a guy (guys) aged 55-70 that KNOW Cougars well and can guide people through our site, answer basic tech questions and when necessary route the call (via the web) to us. This person would have impeccable phone skills, strong automotive vocabulary, even tempered and LIKES talking about Cougars with like minded enthusiasts. Would require high speed internet and be willing to be parked in front of a computer several hours a day 2-5 days a week for 4-8 hours per day. Pay would not be high, probably about $10-$13 per hour depending on your product knowledge level. Perfect opportunity for a retired person looking to supplement their income or a handicapped person who is wheel chair bound. Ideally we would like to find someone locally but lets face it, there are only a handful of people in the entire world that would be a perfect fit for this job.
Hey Don, simple solution … just get one of your high priced hired help to start work at 6 am, then he’d have most of the afternoon off … LOL!! (just kidding…)
Good deal Don!
Glad to see your branching out and expanding operations.
Let me know when you need help with your supply chain! I work for parts!
Sounds neato. A good opportunity for the right person.
If I was alot older (ok a little) retired and alot wiser about cats it would be perfect.Supplement the icome and keep me out of the tiki bars during the day Good luck with the expansion Don
Might be interested in a few weeks. Rumour is I’m about to be part of the next work force reduction
Oh, no! Leon, I hope it is just rumor.
Leon I hope it’s just a rumor. A lot of “reductions” happened here In Sumter years ago. Furniture plants that had been around for nearly a century packed up and moved to Mexico when NAFTA took place. Stuff like that is tough on families. Keep the faith. Good luck.

Don this sounds like a good idea. As far as vocabulary, in Europe aren’t some parts called by different names. Hood / bonnet and things like that . I know you will find good people.
Steven
LOL, not so sure he does!
I heard a rumor he wanted transferred to the Department of Redundancy…Department.
