WCCC Solid State vs. Mustang Project Sequencer?

What are the differences here? Pros/Cons of each? Will the WCCC one drive LED’s ok? (obviously, pricing is a difference)

Anybody know of, or done a comparison between the two?

Thanks!

(Vic, would love to hear you chime in on this!)

Solid state devices don’t survive an EMP, so, you probably wanna factor that in. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

LOL, good point, Scott.

Seriously, though, nobody? Don Rush? Surely you have compared the two units?

I have the older style MP sequencer “bulbs” system. Perfect if you are using a totally brand new wiring setup, such as a mustang Ron Francis style for a 68 for example, uses normal wiring techniques, as in brake, turn signal and lights on…simple. But , do they “click” when turn signals are activated, mine didn’t, so I added an old turn signal flasher for the clicking sound.

Just installed mine from WCCC. Works great. So much better than before.

Thanks for the input, fellers!

Actually I have not had one in hand. If the price was close I suppose customers would ask but until you mentioned it I had forgot there even was an alternative. Years ago they called me wanting me to sell it for them but after a quick review I decided there was no benefit to it over the tried and true unit Vic has offered for decades. Thanks for chiming in Vic!

Thanks, Don, and Vic. Appreciate the input from all.
