Is WCCC’s website down? All I see is a blank white page when I use my bookmarked link. I googled WCCC and it redirected me to a Hertz rental car website.

I got a message that their web host is affected by Hurricane Harvey, and they are experiencing problems. I got a white page of death once, too, so it looks like they are working on it. The white page of death usually occurs because the server doesn’t display errors (a security measure) and is throwing some fatal errors.

This is a reminder that we are all in the same boat. Hurricane Harvey is going to have lasting repercussions that we can’t even imagine. Right now those folks need a flood of money to get back on their feet.
Yup - although WCCC is in Oregon, the servers that host our website are in Texas. I was under the impression that we had backup copies of the site hosted elsewhere, but apparently not. We’re looking into all options to get something up and running, but there’s no ETA at the moment. We are all here though so feel free to call - (503) 463-1130
It does kinda hit home thinking about the people who work at that server farm. Not that I know any of them, but I’m sure they’re all preoccupied looking after themselves and their families. That’s gonna be their priority for a while. Crazy times!

Wow! For the first time in 27 years I was beginning to know what unemployment potentially feels like. Not even a blip of what our neighbors south are going through.
It’s amazing how a powerful storm can cause issues all across the USA. Overall this is just a small inconvenience compared to what the folks in Texas are experiencing. Prayers to them for a speedy recovery.
