WCC's Stainless Scuff plates(Dynacorn)

Hey, just a shout out to anyone looking for new scuff plates…the stainless ones look fantastic! I managed to sneak a little bit of cave-time in, long enough to install them. I’ll post up a pic of them tomorrow. They look so much better than my ratty originals!

Hey tree… are these the ones that are like 140 dabloons? I didnt pay a whole lot MORE than that for my car…

Nope, under $100 for the pair, Dos…

Picture!

The sill plates look good. I need to do that to my car.

wow those look great!! I will be getting a set of these!
BTW mo2872 what seats are in your car?

Saw them in AZCAT’s car over at the Basore Bash and they did look very nice. A lot sturdier than the paper thin aluminum ones I put in my car that came pre-scratched and bent at no extra charge.

Thanks!

The seats are out of a later model Mustang(Yup, a Mustang sacrificed for a Cougar! Twisted, yes?) Couldn’t tell you the year, but if I had to guess, maybe late 80’s, early 90’s. I need to figure it out, as sooner or later, they will need new skins.

yeah it looks like a foxbody seat just wanted to double check. if so then 87-93 would be the years and if I remember right blk was only an option towards the end of production, maybe 93 only.

Hey, thanks for the info! I purchased them from another guy that had converted them for his Cougar, but he couldn’t remember the year of the Mustang…I’ll look into that!

Are the stainless scuff plates obviously different than the aluminum ones? I am sure they would be more sturdy but do they look correct or are the too shiny for concourse?

They are too shiny but they are purty. I have them in my car and love 'em.

I’m definitely getting a pair when I get to that point, but I’m not going concours. You’ve done it again, T3!

Yes, very different! Don and the crew do a good job comparing the different available versions at the link provided earlier in the thread…I can’t remember them all! LOL, something about the “OEM Wrinkles” or some such, and the shine.

Adam- Sorry, man!!! But they do look nice!

I was thinking they would look way too far off original, but seeing the picture I don’t think they’re outrageous. I’ll definitely have to pick up at least one pair.

I’d say it depends on the application, and the user. Obviously, I didn’t really care for originality, else I wouldn’t have chosen the colors/scheme I did, so, they are great!
