Between taking the new guy at work for a ride in my '68 and scaring the s#@$ out of him, and him viewing the various car, projects, and discussions on this forum, we have inadvertently indoctrinated a new member of the “club”.
While not a Cougar, he’s into the '55-'56 Ford pickups. We’ve managed to find a '50 that his boss from his first highschool job owns and uses as a backdrop for his photography studio. As luck would have it, he will be selling it next year and doesn’t want to have to move it, so Wayne has dibs. It is minus engine and trans, but is solid with only a few dings, bad paint, but very solid. His wife is even on board.
So fingers crossed, let’s hope he gets it. He kind of wants to go with a “Expendables” movie truck kind of look.
