What are those crimp on wire ends that hold the light sockets together called?

One of my under dash courtesy lights was left hanging for several weeks during the air-conditioning install, and the end of the old wire finally gave out.

All I need to put the socket back together is that little button piece that crimps onto the end of the wire and acts as the 12v+ contact in the center of the base of the socket. Does anyone know what that little piece is called and where I can source them?

Picture isn’t showing.

i think it is called a single flat-pin ( element ) style of bulb housing or holder. Easier to get the correct Ford style ( at an Auto recycler / WCCC ) and with the wire to your courtesy light already cut, it is easy to open up the crimp on the donor flat pin connector, and re-crimp it to your wire ( having removed the appropriate length of plastic covering.) Remember to slide the small spring back in place over the wire before you recrimp the flat pin back on ! If you want a new, uncrimped flat pin element, you can always try any automotive jobber shop ( I’ve found NAPA has a wide range of generic small electrical parts for general repairs ). Good luck - not a hard job, but finding the correct item for repairs to cars that are 50 years old is half the battle.

Auto part stores sell lamp holders that have that piece. Around $3 here.

I destroyed the old one trying to get it off the broken wire. I was hoping to find a pack of 5 or something to repair a door socket as well, but I guess I’ll just buy a new socket with the wire and transplant the wire over.
