Found this under my carpet in my 68 xr7.
Believe that is the metal embossed strip from the temporary ownercard that came in the glovebox when the car was new. After the car was purchased, the temporary ownercard was valid only until it got replaced by a permanent ownercard that got mailed to the new owner. The permanent ownercard included the new owner’s name and address.
