I am just wondering if anyone has and idea of what something like this Mustang is worth 66’ fastback clean title 289 4v. Sorry its a Mustang and not a Cougar but i am just looking for advice. Thank you for your help and advice.

Sorry, I wouldn’t pay more than a grand but that’s me.
I have had both and this car appears to be a car you almost need to back into to decide a value and i would say no more then 3k because it looks like it needs about 35 - 40k or more to restore it by the time your done with parts and labor. unless you can do all the work yourself. nice 65 66 fastbacks appear to be trading around 35 to 45k unless its a K code car.
It doesn’t matter what we think. It is worth what ever the owner requires to sell it. If that number doesn’t suit you keep looking.
Worffers have lost the plot. Putting a price tag on everything completely misses the real reason that most people care about these cars. If a car means nothing to you other than what it’s worf you would be far better off trading securities or speculating on crypto currency.
So tell us what that car means to you. Did you have one in high school? Did the girl next door date a guy that had one? Why did the owner hang on to it? What will motivate you to bring it back?
Its not for me. one of my friends was looking at it and asked what i thought but i have no idea it to far gone and worth a couple thousand in parts. Thank you guys for your time and opinion.
What would be the average market value of such a project car? Most sellers will often over-estimate that amount only to end up mitigating their asking price until they start parties that are seriously interested. There are also a few caveats that can raise the value of a car significantly. These being options or pedigree that would too affect the over-all intrinsic value.
Not seeing any value there. I would try and find a better example to start with.
Seems like a perfect example of “if you need to ask what the value is that you probably should keep looking”. Buyer would need a plan or a reason to purchase which would set the value to them. From pictures not much there even for a part out.
