wheel spacers

You were right catsrock i had to put spacers on the front of my car for clearance. They are a universal 5/16 in. thick. Does anyone have good or bad comments about spacers?

I’m guessing that you used them because you fitted later model Mustang wheels or something?

5/16" isn’t that big of a deal. But still, and since you asked, I’m not a fan of spacers. I always order wheels that fit. I used a pair on an 80s Grand Prix that I had a long time ago and the wheels kept coming loose.

wheel spacers that are machined to locate the wheel and register on the hub aren’t too bad—the flat - non locating are not a favorite of mine either—a custom set of spacers will run you about $100.00 @ a machine shop—make sure your studs are long enough and don’t try them on anything less than 1/2 stud

Thanks for the advice. The wheels are magnum 500 from wheel vintique. I will keep an eye on the lugs.
