Early vs late? Car was built November of 1969.
D2AA-AB switch has the contact for the key reminder buzzer, The D0ZA-C does not.
The D2AZ switch is a consolidated service replacement part, meant to replace multiple “unique” switches, and was implemented across Cougar, Montego and the full size lines.
The D0ZA-C is more correct for a 70 Cougar.

So maybe Standard Cougar didn’t get the key buzzer and the DOZA part would be for that. Cougarrand when was your car built?
Ditto cougarrand. Mine built Mar 9, 1970.
