Does anyone know of a source for 1968 XR-7 window crank knobs in saddle color?

They have never been reproduced. You have to find them NOS, good used, or not at all. I might have a extra crank or two with 1 or 2 good used ones.

The alternative is to use the Ginger ones which are a little dark but they look OK if all are the same on the car.

To be clear, are you saying they have never been reproduced in the color saddle (but have been for other colors)?

Yep, that’s what I have on Isabel (in black). And Jan, I think these are the same between the two models.

My comments are regarding SADDLE knobs only. They are not available anywhere except NOS or good used. They have never been reproduced. You can use repro Ginger knobs, they are much darker than saddle but look OK if you replace all of them so they all match.

And if you look carefully you will see there are no saddle knobs.

Join the gang of us that can’t buy the correct color for our aqua interiors. I finally just bought some green ones and sprayed them with a body color rattle can that I had mixed up for me. They look good and unbelievably, the paint seems to be holding up!
