Can anyone tell me if i have the placement of this 1970 wiper moter linkage correct? I had it in the cowl but the link arm that connects to the motor was hitting the bottom of the cowl. Apreciate the help.

Did you try flipping it around 180 degrees?

I figured it out. The wiper linkage only goes in one way, which is the way I laid it out in the pictures. The problem I was having was that the ends of the linkage were hitting the interior of the cowl and making the motor jump during rotation when the linkage was hooked up. I replaced a lot of sheet metal in the cowl and the new metal Sat slightly higher than original, causing it to hit. I’ll have to modify a few things so it clears. Lesson learned, the wiper linkage (transmission) does not have a lot of room to operate. It’s pretty close tolerance.
