Wiring Harness Label. Is this right?

Hey Fellahs,

I’m looking at this label for the engine wiring feed harness: http://www.ebay.com/itm/310622757767?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649&autorefresh=true

The number on it is D0AB-14288-A, but looking at the WCCC site the part number for the harness is D0AZ-14289-A (I bought this replacement from them a while back).

Am I missing something? Is that label actually correct for a 428 wiring harness?

Thanks,

There are engineering numbers, and casting numbers.

D0AZ-14289-A is the engineering number. That tag, with number would be considered the casting number, they fall off, so you don’t see them very often.

One would presume that who ever re-manufactured those tags did their homework and that it is accurate. (it is not uncommon to see the main part number differ between an engineering and casting number.)

Thanks Scott!

It looks like Osborne reproduced alot of the various cable tags.
