Recently I picked up a 1964 Mercury Monterey Marauder. It’s in need of a few things. One of them being a steering wheel. I posted a WTB ad on a couple Mercury Groups on FB. The scammers come out of the woodwork with recycled pictures or no pictures asking I pay them right away with Paypal. It’s a mess there…in many ways.
If anyone has 1964 Monterey Marauder stuff, I am looking for a steering wheel and door panels and rear seat area panels.

There are many on eBay. Non - power steering cars got a bigger wheel, PS cars a smaller one. The wheel is shared with the 1963 - 4 Galaxie, the horn button is not.
I did not find a wheel on ebay for 64. Only one pitted horn ring. The Merc wheels are clear at the top, not sure if Galaxie is the same. I did find a wheel and it is on the way.
I just checked Galaxie…there are a lot of wheels. Slightly different, but would work if needed. Thanks for that idea.
A lot of Galaxie wheels are listed as being for Mercury or Ford. I don’t know if the clear plastic is Marauder only or Mercury in general.
My 64 Monterey Breezeway 4-door sedan had the steering wheel with clear plastic rim portions.
All full-size 64 Mercuries also had the “XXV” emblem in the steering wheel center, celebrating Mercury’s 25th anniversary.
