I am looking at the exhaust tips on WCCC and I am wondering if the concourse tips are really worth the extra 200 clams.
What say ye?

I have a set from Branda of the “almost” correct '68 Shelby tips.
The chroming on them is only so-so, but once mounted they will look ok.
I’m sure that the Scott Fuller tips are of a higher quality and they are an exact reproduction (including stamped part #) - they are aimed at the concourse restoration crowd.
The non concourse ones would good if you are doing a concourse restoration. If you are not doing a concourse resto, then the others will work just fine.
Only if you have a G… If you are doing a clone go with the Mustang tips I say. Done right your car will potentially be worth six figures and the details count.
Thanks for the input guys. I am replacing the exhaust, so I might as well go all the way. I also got the correct clamps too.
That is the “seduction” of having a rare car with lots of unique parts. You are compelled to go that extra mile - the car almost challenges you to do’er right!
Isn’t that the truth…
Well, I got the tips this week and they look awesome. To my surprise they were already painted. I had to polish them to get them to shine, but with a tiny bit of elbow grease, they look great.
I can’t wait to get to the point where I am ready to install them.
Those were the ones we painted for the pics on our site, hoped you would notice and glad you like them. Kind of like a beautiful diamond ring on your brides finger.
Love 'em - thanks for posting the pic!
Matt those tips look great. This is how it starts…while I’m putting on the exhaust tips I might as well do this and so on and so on. Enjoy the ride.
