1970 Houndstooth Gold-Yellow Metallic Cougar Elite Marti report?

Just picked up a new project Cougar and I was wondering if anyone out there has an Elite Marti Report for a similar car that they can share with me? 0F91H570xxx is a 1970 Gold (K code paint) Ginger interior (3F) Houndstooth Cougar with a 351C-2V engine, houndstooth vinyl top, AC, PS, decor interior. Sold new in Phoenix, AZ and never left. Late build date, 6/25/1970. If so, drop me a message. Thanks, Scott

Congrats! Hopefully it’s a low-rust AZ car. Very similar to this Cougar:

Scott, my Marti report is online. It is on the Cougar Club of America website. Unique Mercury Cougars | The Cougar Club of America Cougars/Houndstooth
I hope I typed the right.

Sort of worked. Pick the 1970 Houndstooth Cougar link. Go to the bottom of the page.
If you have any questions, my phone number is on the Contact page under Board of Directors. I am the webmaster.

Thanks, I just got the Deluxe Marti report for mine as well. But I am still looking for someone that has an Elite Marti report for a similar car, since 2553 were made in this exact color combo, It pretty much was the definition of what the “houndstooth Cougar” was, so I suspect that most of these 2553 Cougar were similarly equipped.

Scott, could one interpret that the chart looks like another 1237 of these '70 XR7’s were built in the same “houndstooth” color combo, per the CCA link to 1970 Houndstooth, besides the 2553 Hardtop Standards?

Cou_gar,
That is the number that Kevin Marti’s book “Cougar, by the numbers” sows for the XR-7 in this color combo.

That is super cool! I have had a houndstooth car optioned the same that I just got a marti report in that was completed just a few days ahead of yours. It was a June 22nd 1970!

Hope you enjoy your new car!

It wouldn’t let me upload since I’m a new user.
