This winter’s project is rebuilding the front end. Here’s what I am thinking is a nice setup but looking to hear folks opinions. The car will be a cruiser with an occasional trip to the drag strip. My goal is to have adjustable height, less friction and the ability to adjust for weight transfer to the rear (Cal-tracs) when on some sticky tires. All while keeping the cost reasonable.
Open tracker lower control arms with the upgraded bearings
Open tracker upper control arms with the blueprinted pivot shaft
Vi-King Warrior coil-over double adjustable shocks. Stock height with 390 “Big Block” springs
Rubber spring isolators
Original strut rods cleaned up. Bushings are recent.
Shelby Drop
Tie rods, idler arm etc… are all good having been refreshed recently.
