68 XR-7 (302/Auto) stock weight?

Do any of you guys know the stock weight of a 68 XR-7 with a 302 and automatic? I’d prefer to see numbers from guys who’ve weighed their own (or have read numbers from guys who’ve weighed their own lol) if possible. I’ve looked on line and keep seeing the same 3,134-3500ish pounds repeated over and over…so I’m not sure which to trust.

The reason I’m asking is because I have a target weight in mind, and am curious what kind of challenges I’ll be facing to get there. I’d just get out the scales and weigh mine, but its in 200 pieces and I don’t know what may or may not be missing.

Plus I’d like to have a good comparison to stock.

FWIW:

From an old thread on another forum: “I have a 68 standard, SB it weighs in at 3201 lbs with a 1/4 tank of gas. That weight is from a certified scale”
The NOV 1967 issue of Popular Science quotes the base '68 Cougar curb weight at 3,240 pounds.
The July 1968 Car Life road tested two 1968 Cougars, a pretty heavily optioned 302 4 barrel automatic, and one with the 427 and automatic. The 302 Cougar had a curb weight of 3,385 pounds. The 427 car weighed in at 3,662.
