69 Passenger side sport mirror

Has anyone put the sport mirror on the passenger side of their 69? I would appreciate some pictures if you have any and what gasket you used.

I didn’t realize that the mirror was made of 2 parts, the base and head. Good to know.

I forgot to mention that I have the reproduction mirror I got from WCCC with the chrome base because my drivers side has a chrome base. Looking to see if anyone else has one mounted on the passenger side.

My Wife and I have owned many of our Classic Cats over the past 42 years. And, I have added a passenger side sport mirror to a few of those Cougars. Mike Banks offered a REALLY nice tutorial awhile back on this Forum. Here’s a link to that thread, and I hope that you will find it helpful:

Yes I’ve installed the chrome base Sport mirrors on my 1969 base convertible.
