For me, it’s vinyl tops all the way, yes it was something that started in the 60’s, and continued on all the way until about 97 or so, of course depending on the car. Such as Towncars from Lincoln, man that’s really boss.

As for the GT-E’s mine is red, black interior, and black vinyl roof.

Personally, without a vinyl top, I think they look cheap/ not finished, it’s a luxury pony car, that’s how Mercury advertised it, a step UP from a Mustang.

Vinyl tops scream LUXURY!

I’ve owned 5 Lincoln Towncars, and ALL had a vinyl roof, that’s a statement of an expensive car.

Oh I don’t know, I like that colour scheme. Very Trans-Am.
