Yep, more of a Michigan fan but truthfully, I don’t follow college football that close. The only college game I’ve watch this year was MI vs Ohio last week which was a good one. I am pulling for MSU and I know one of the players which is a home town kid I watched play in high school games. He is real good friends with my Boss son and met him a few times. Impressive to stand next to him and man you should see him eat My Boss and his wife have tickets and are attending the game in Indy. 96 Pickelman here are his stats:
Wow…Yeah, Pick is a stud…and unfortunately his going down last night was a huge factor! It was a crushing loss, but I’m very proud of the boys and the team showed up to play. It was a great great game we should have won. I feel for the Seniors…
I was a bit alarmed when Mike told me that he was sort of politely urged to just take what they offered him for his Bronc’s spot…which is number 43 on Tuesday afternoon, I think. When he asked for a later spot and wanted to spend more, they didn’t give him a very good feeling, so he took it. I hope they don’t screw you out of a decent spot, but was frankly not aware of the risk of trying to pay for a better spot.
I was a little nervous for you and was going to say something to ya, but figured the dice have already been rolled. I’d think they’d have gotten back to ya by now though
We’ll see what happens. I’ll bet they offer me something comparable or better. It is what it is…I’m a big boy about it. Nuthin’ like a deadline to get every last issue finished! Worst case sceanario is that I have a 100% complete and beautiful 4 speed car to keep for a little while longer.
That’s the spirit! But I think they’ll be morons if they don’t give you a decent evening spot on Thursday…or better. Their Executive Board has a few Cougar fans-That can’t hurt. If you’re gonna roll the dice with the Big Boys, they are gambling too (ie hoping you’d fold for them), because they also could lose your car to sell…so Kudos to you and your ballz
I’m guessing I’m out. I just spoke with one of their people. I called them, they didn’t call me. They’re close to closing out all the lot numbers. He said the lot numbers that are left would be less desirable than the one they offered me to start with. I guess it does not pay to rock the boat as I apparently did. Oh well. This whole episode is neither good nor bad.
