I will see if I can get the article put up where you guys can read it. It was in Muscle Car Enthusiast and it was written by Rich Truesdell. Rich used to own a G car himself, and he has been responsible for putting more Cougars into magazines than any one else in the business.
I have been twisting Rich’s arm to do an online Cougar Magazine. Of course the hard part is figuring out how to pay for it, but stay tuned.
I will definitely nominate Bill’s car. But not this month. If there’s gonna be a calendar, I want that car in it. So I’ll wait to nominate her until next year. Wait, the car is a girl, right?
(let’s open that can of worms, it’s always fun, yeah?)
Yeah, Bill’s Black Cherry G belongs in a calendar… but I want to know if he has (and will show) any pictures of it the day he first got it.
His description of it’s condition when he finally got it in his hands made me shudder, and then I started kissing the ground my wife of 28 years walks upon.
(As long as she continues to let me walk upon the SAME ground!)
this weekends shots of the kitty and the f150 leaving to wisconsin so i can finish them.
i am going to do the backup lamps, trunk moulding and the taillight bezels in the same silver as the scoop, i am torn weather to do it the grille in the front.
thanks! the color is ford code t8 tungsten grey. i am pissed that the hood stripes lifted on the nose because they masked out very nice… i hate redoing stuff. the hood scoop. i like the e cat sccops. but i didnt want to make the car look like something its not. i have a lithograph of a 69 with the scj hoop that made me go this route. i love how it looks!
if you look clsoely at the lh side of the large area of the grey you can see it starting to lift
