I just reinstalled my C80F-9510-C carb after sending it out to Drew @ afscarbs.com for restoral. I was having an issue with the carb weeping even after replacing the gaskets, and adjusting idle mixture screws had no affect.
Drew does a fantastic job going through the carbs and then installing on his run stand to verify. In my case, he found an issue with the base plate, but was fortunate to have one in stock.
I installed a temp fuel pressure gauge and found it’s pushing 7 psi which may be a bit high.
Haven’t had a chance to take it out yet, but it’s now leak free and seems to rev a bit crisper. I’ll need to pull a plug after taking it out and see how they read.
